With government approval: Foreign Minister Eli Cohen decided today (Sunday) to appoint Ma'ale Adumim Mayor Benny Kashriel as Israel's ambassador to Italy.
Benny Kashriel, 71, born in Ashkelon, has served as mayor of Ma'ale Adumim since 1992 and is considered a respected mayor, serves as chairman of the Likud faction in the local government center, deputy chairman of the local government center, and serves as a board member of Mifal Hapais and the Society for Economy and Economy. In the past, he also served as chairman of the Yesha Council.
