Drone attack on Moscow (Telegram)
Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, said Ukrainian drones struck the Russian capital on Sunday night, Russian news agency TASS reported. According to the report, the mayor of Sauvinin said that "as a result of the attack, two buildings in the city sustained minor damage, but there were no casualties."
TASS added that according to Russian authorities, the attack in the capital was carried out by two Ukrainian drones that were identified and subsequently shot down in the west of the city.

Also a week ago, Russia's Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of a "terrorist" drone attack in Moscow. The mayor said two buildings were damaged, and Russian media reported that remains were found not far from the Defense Ministry buildings. Moscow has vowed retaliation for the "terrorist attack," which took place near one of the symbols of its war in Ukraine for nearly a year and a half.
A senior Ukrainian official assured after the attack, which came after a week of Russian bombardment of the port city of Odesa, in retaliation for the damage to the Crimean bridge, that this was not the last attack. A day before last week's attack, one person was killed and dozens more wounded in a missile attack that severely damaged a historic Orthodox cathedral in Odesa, and President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed revenge on Russia.
After the Ukrainian attack, Russia's defence ministry said two drones were "neutralised and crashed", while Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said two non-residential buildings were hit around 4 a.m., adding that there was "no serious damage or casualties." Therefore, it was unclear whether the drones hit buildings when they were shot down, or deliberately attacked them.
