The police are looking for Maria Fernanda from Berlin with a description and a photo. The search for "Maffy" is going viral on Instagram.
Berlin - For a week now, there has been no trace of a young woman from Berlin. The Berlin police informed in a message about the disappearance of the 24-year-old. Accordingly, the missing person is Maria Fernanda Sanchez Castaneda from Treptow-Köpenick. She left her apartment in Büchnerweg on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Since then, there has been no sign of life from the young woman. With a photo, the police are now looking for the missing woman.

As the police explained in the message, there are indications that the 24-year-old could be in an exceptional psychological situation. The missing Maria Fernanda is 150 to 155cm tall, has a slim figure and long dark hair. The police ask possible witnesses: Who can give clues to the whereabouts of the missing? Who has seen the missing woman since her disappearance on July 22, 2023?
Not only the police are currently looking for the young woman. Relatives are also hoping for a clue in the missing person case. The Instagram page "Find_Maffy_Berlin" is looking for the 24-year-old. Thousands of people are now following the virtual search (around 11,000 people, as of Saturday, July 29), and the search calls for Maria Fernanda have already been spread countless times. As it is explained there, among other things, on search posters, the young woman also listens to her nickname "Maffy". A search operation for Saturday is also planned, among other things.
