Bomb found in the middle of Dusseldorf – defusing date still unclear

First report from August 7, 20:49 p.m.: Düsseldorf – During construction work in Düsseldorf-Düsseltal/Zoo on Monday evening (August 7), an American ten-hundredweight aerial bomb from the Second World War was found. "Currently, the crisis management of the state capital Düsseldorf is meeting to determine the next possible mitigation date," the city of Düsseldorf announced in the evening. Further information will only be available after the session, the duration of which is unknown.

It is therefore still unclear at what time or on what day the bomb will be defused. The only thing that is certain is that the unexploded ordnance disposal service will defuse it. It is also still unclear whether an evacuation will be necessary. After the meeting of the city, however, the danger telephone of the state capital Düsseldorf should be occupied.
