Essonne: four men caught red-handed beating a forty-year-old man to steal his two-wheeler

At a traffic light, the individuals suddenly got off their moped to try to steal the two-wheeler of a 43-year-old man, hitting him several times. On a video, viewed by us, we see the driver being unbalanced and hit on the ground by four men, one of whom appears armed. The scene, violent, was broadcast on social networks.

The thugs were quick to flee on foot, seeing the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) present on the spot. One of them fell during his run, throwing away his handgun. He quickly got up but fell again, allowing law enforcement to arrest him. Aged 19, he was placed in custody, confirms a police source, as well as a second suspect. An investigation of flagrance was opened for facts of "attempted robbery in an organized gang with a weapon".

Fabien Vanhemelryck, general secretary of the Alliance union, was quick to react to these facts, praising the work of the police, while ensuring that it was "the reality on the ground" of civil servants.
