Several U.S. citizens detained in Iran have been allowed to leave prison. However, they are said not to have been flown out and brought to safety.
Tehran/Washington - Several U.S. citizens detained in Iran have been released from a prison in Tehran and are to be placed under house arrest, according to a lawyer for those affected. A U.S. attorney representing the family of a detainee said in a written statement.
