The teenager was spotted by a crew of the BAC (Anti-Crime Brigade) at night, in the center of the capital, rue de la Paix (IIe), while he was driving a Toyota Yaris. Without much success, since the police managed to arrest them. Surprise, the driver was a minor, without a de facto license, and known to the police. The control of the registration of the vehicle, abandoned a little further, made it possible to establish that the Toyota had been reported stolen for several days. A ball gun was inside.

The two cannabis-positive teenagers

Taken to the station, the teenager and his sidekick tested positive for cannabis. The young driver was then taken into custody and then brought in. In court, the magistrate retained the endangerment taken during his escape by car. In his journey, he almost ran over two pedestrians.

In November 2022, a similar news item took place rue de l'Ourcq, in the nineteenth arrondissement. A 17-year-old driver of a stolen car with a false license plate refused to comply with police orders. And finished his race, after crashing several cars, jumping into the Canal Saint-Denis. The police had to rescue him. They threw him a buoy and pulled him out of the water.

In France, according to police unions, a refusal to comply occurs every twenty minutes, sometimes injuring police officers and motorists and causing death. A phenomenon that continues to rise. Recent events of this type, including the media and tragic Nahel case, have established that in 2022, 13 people were killed by the police as part of checks and refusal to comply.
