In Schlehdorf, a photovoltaic open space is to be built. In the municipal council, the project has now cleared the next hurdle.

Schlehdorf – Green light for the solar park at Reuterbühl in Schlehdorf: At its most recent meeting, the municipal council unanimously approved the project, amended the land use plan and approved the development plan. The authorities and associations also have no objections to the project.

Cows and calves will graze between the solar panels

As reported, Philipp Jocher would like to build a ground-mounted photovoltaic system on his agricultural property in the Reuterbühl area, not far from the industrial estate. The solar park is to be 1.5 hectares in size and generate one megawatt of power. A later expansion is conceivable. Jocher, who keeps around 200 cows on his farm, currently uses the area intensively to produce grass and hay for his animals. If the solar park is built, he would like to switch to extensive farming and let his cows and calves graze around the solar panels.

Since Mayor Stefan Jocher, as the uncle of Philipp Jocher, is personally affected, Second Mayor Werner Mest chaired the meeting and read out the statements of the authorities and associations. "The public was involved, but didn't speak up," Mest said with a smile. Not a single statement from citizens was received by the municipality between March 3 and April 4.

There is also no resistance from the specialist authorities

There was also hardly any response from the so-called "public interest carriers". 27 were contacted, twelve received no reply and ten had no objections. The nature conservation authority had pointed out "in many words" that the legal requirements must be complied with. On June 21, the representatives of the authorities had inspected the area and found nothing that speaks against the solar park, according to Mest: "They only determined in which area hedges should be planted." It was important to the Office of Agriculture that the land be used sparingly, and the district office gave the basic planning law notice that areas such as disused industrial areas should be used primarily for solar parks: "But we don't have too many of them either," commented Mest. Thus, the municipal council approved the amendment of the land use plan.

Monuments Office points to "burnt offering sites of the late and late Latène period"

The municipality received similar information on the amendment of the development plan. Werner Mest found the statement of the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments remarkable, according to which there are "burnt offering sites of the late and late Latène period" in the area and that there may be archaeological monuments. "Do you know what the late and late latène period is?" the deputy mayor asked with a grin. "I googled – that was the time from 450 BC to the birth of Christ – so don't break any ground monuments." The councils took note of it and approved the plans.
