In Miesbach and Schliersee, the forest festivals began on Friday evening - in glorious summer weather.
Miesbach/Schliersee \u2012 Like mushrooms, they will sprout from the ground again this weekend, the forest, summer and barbecue festivals. In many places in the district, clubs invite you to cozy get-togethers in the beer tent or in the open air. Just in time for the festivities, the weather is right again. There may be isolated showers on Saturday, but mostly the sun will shine from the sky in summer temperatures.

Already on Friday evening, two forest festivals started in the Schlierachtal: in the Waitzinger Park in Miesbach and on the forest festival site near the lido in Schliersee. In Miesbach, four clubs - the SV, the TEV, the Musikverein and the Trachtler - will also take care of the well-being of their guests this Saturday from 15 p.m. The traditional forest festival of the Schliersee Ski Club even runs until Sunday. Start on Saturday is at 17 p.m., on Sunday at 11 a.m. On Friday, the Schliersee brass band played for the parade and then in the tent, on the weekend Die Stürzlhamer, the Huaba Oim Musi and the Hartpenning brass band can be heard. In Miesbach, how could it be otherwise, the Musikverein as co-organizer provides the necessary momentum.
Celebrations will also take place in Ostin this weekend. It is the last big forest festival of the season in the valley.
