However, not everything went as expected. A woman did almost 5000 kilometers to attend a wedding, but ended up in the wrong place. And with an anecdote in his memory.
The protagonist of this story, known in her networks as Arti, said that she traveled from the United States to Scotland, where the celebration would take place.
Arti explained that the bride and groom had reserved a seat for him at one of the most important tables of the celebration. In addition, she had been entrusted with the "job" of being the "unofficial" photographer and capturing the unique moments. For these and many other issues, she could not miss the event.

After arriving in Glasgow, the Scottish capital, Arti stayed in an Airbnb and then prepared for the first part of the wedding, the official ceremony.
Fortunately, he managed to make it to the first part on time, although a problem arose with the second part of the wedding.
After the ceremony the party began, which was going to be commemorated in a different direction and a few hours apart. Therefore, the American citizen took advantage of that extra time to return to Airbnb and change her dress.
Once changed and close to party time, Arti asked for an Uber. Immediately, she noticed that there was a problem: the demand for cars was high because it was raining back then.

The woman became impatient because she was afraid of being late, but after a while the driver appeared to transfer her. Next, Arti headed to the wedding address, a few blocks away from his Airbnb.
A mistake for memory
When she arrived at her destination, she entered an enclosure and was soon shocked: she did not recognize any of the guests who were there.
Immediately, she noticed a large sign that had the names of the bride and groom written on it. To his bewilderment, they were other people he didn't know. "Where am I?" the woman thought. It turns out that he was in the wrong place and at the wedding of two strangers.

Why It Ended Up at Another Wedding
What happened? According to his account, he got confused about the address. Arti instructed the driver to take her to Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, although in truth the correct place was Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, with a very similar name to the previous one.
The woman stayed chatting with the "unknown" boyfriends, whom she considered "very nice" and then got into another Uber to go to the right address. In the end, he managed to be present at the wedding of his loved ones, but late.

I missed their entrance to the lounge and reception. The father of the bride was a little angry with me for not arriving on time (...) It was one of the funniest weddings I had. I started the day badly and ended it in the best way," warned Arti, who now has a funny anecdote to his credit.
