The Monumental is still in the process of renovation. After raising its total capacity to 84,<> spectators, River continues to add comforts for its fans. This time, it is "Banda", a restaurant located at the height of the Centenario Media grandstand that will have an exclusive view of the entire playing field and the neighborhood of Núñez.
It will be inaugurated on September 4 and will be open every day of the week from 9 in the morning until 2 in the morning, with the intention that those who visit it have the possibility of approaching breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner at any time of the day.
The complex has a space of 700 square meters and its menu offers more than 180 dishes. The premises can be used by both members and fans of the club, as well as by the general public.
That is why "Banda" will have an exclusive access elevator over the entrance of Av. Figueroa Alcorta. In addition, any diner who attends by car will have the possibility of parking it inside the garages of the club.
On the days that River plays at the Monumental, the new gastronomic venue will fulfill the function of hospitality, an area that will allow access to up to 300 fans to enjoy personalized attention in the run-up to the match and in their respective halftime. To access it, fans must purchase this service.
Even Millionaires members and Somos River members will also receive a 10 percent discount on any of their meals. The menu aims at a style of international dishes, which will consist especially of different styles of meat, fish, pasta and sushi. It also includes minutes, burgers and empanadas designed exclusively for the place, with special fillings such as chorizo steak.
In addition, there will be signature drinks, among which the "Orange Tango" stands out, which commemorates the mythical goal of Beto Alonso to Boca in 1986 to give the Olympic lap of national champion in the Bombonera, a goal that was converted with the orange ball that gives its name to the drink.
The construction of the complex was carried out through a private company, "December 9, 2018", formed by the Malloys Group and Maldini Group, which will have the concession of the space for a total of 10 years. The same firm also has at its disposal other restaurants such as Tinta, Amelí, Masaii, Lelé de Río, Fedras, Chana Club, Maldini and Casa Paradiso.

With the inauguration of its new work, the Monumental will become one of the few Argentine football teams that have a gastronomic enclosure within its stadium.
The only ones who accompany him in this project are Estudiantes de La Plata with its restaurant called "León", located on the edge of the UNO playing field, as well as the Mother of Cities Stadium of Santiago del Estero with BEU (Bar Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades), also located a few meters from the green lawn.
