Guitarist Richard Kruspe had hinted at the end of Rammstein. Now he seems to be backpedaling, suggesting a comeback for the band in 2024.
Berlin – For months, there have been harsh allegations against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (60). The musician vehemently denies the accusations – but the whole thing has not left his band members unscathed. Guitarist Richard Kruspe (56) had even suggested the end of the band with a cryptic social media post. Now, however, he is rowing back – and instead hinting at a comeback.
No band crisis: Will Till Lindemann be back on stage with Rammstein in 2024?
It wasn't until August 6, 2023, that guitarist Richard Kruspe addressed fans online with disturbing words. "I don't know what the future will be like, but in any case it will be different," he wrote, giving his followers a lot to think about. Will he and his bandmates no longer be on stage together? At least it seemed as if the native of Brandenburg was not sure whether Till Lindemann and Co. would survive the difficult times unscathed.
In the meantime, however, Richard Kruspe seems to be in a positive mood and believes in the future of Rammstein – at least that's how his followers interpret a new post on his Instagram channel. "After a heavy rain shower, the sun always comes," are the encouraging words he writes about a picture taken at one of the concerts. For the fans it is therefore clear: Rammstein also have better times ahead of them.
The coverage of the allegations against Till Lindemann
Due to the public interest in the Till Lindemann case, we regularly report on the allegations. Such articles are neither to be understood as an apportionment of blame nor a defence – on the contrary: we strive for neutral reporting and try to capture the voices of advocates and opponents in order to reflect a similarly heterogeneous picture of the mood as is emerging within society.
The fans are behind Rammstein and hope for a comeback
Even though the European tour is over and no new dates have been announced for the time being, fans want to be patient and give the band time to gather themselves. "We'll wait until the sun shines again," someone commented on the post. Till Lindemann's ex-girlfriend Sophia Thomalla (33), like fans and guitarist Richard Kruspe, seems to believe in an upswing. The presenter is one of the followers who have marked the musician's post with a red heart - and is not the first time she has stood behind Till Lindemann and Rammstein.
