A reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles III seems to be within reach. Harry apparently cannot count on the support of Meghan Markle.
London – The distance between King Charles III (74) and Prince Harry (38) could hardly be greater at the moment. On the one hand, the two are separated by almost 9,000 kilometers after Harry's move to Montecito, California, and on the other hand, both father and son are waiting for each other's concessions. Prince Harry denounced the royal family's behavior towards him in his biography "Spare", while Charles finds it difficult to forgive his youngest for the lurid revelations in "Spare" and in the Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan".

But now there seems to be a silver lining. According to reports from the OK!magazine, preparations for a meeting between Harry and King Charles in London are already in full swing. From 9 to 16 September, the Invictus Games, which were launched by Prince Harry in 2014, will take place in Düsseldorf. As a patron, the prince is expected to attend numerous competitions. The farewell show is to be hosted by Harry's wife Meghan Markle (42).
Before Prince Harry flies back to Montecito, there will be a peace summit with Papa Charles. "King Charles is expected to return to London from Balmoral in mid-September, which coincides with the end of Harry's Invictus Games trip to Düsseldorf," a source told OK!-Magazine. "The King is on an official visit to France on September 20 and therefore has a few days to meet with his son in London. The employees are currently trying to coordinate the details." The meeting is scheduled to take place on September 17 – two days after Harry's 39th birthday.
No more domicile in Great Britain
King Charles III has reclaimed the keys to his mother's loan to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Frogmore Cottage, which was renovated by the couple and is owned by the Crown, was their last remaining base in the UK. If you stay in the kingdom, Prince Harry would still not have to stay in a hotel or with friends: the monarch has always signaled that he wants to host him.

For King Charles, the reconciliation talks with Prince Harry are conditional. "The king loves his son very much, but he was mortally wounded by what he did. He will always be there for him, but draws the line in public battles of words," the source said. "Should the talks take place, the king will make it very clear that in the future there will be absolutely no private family matters discussed in public." Above all, Harry's negative statements about Charles' great love Camilla (76) are said to have hit the monarch hard.

Surprisingly, Meghan Markle is not supposed to be present at the talks, although she is previously in Düsseldorf with Harry. It is "extremely unlikely" that the Duchess of Sussex will attend the meeting between father and son. Another tip against Meghan, who was met with icy silence on the part of the royals on her 42nd birthday. If the peace summit between Prince Harry and his father is successful, a family reunion on the occasion of King Charles' 75th birthday on November 14 could be the next step towards reconciliation.
