Two serious accidents kept the rescue workers on their toes at the beginning of the weekend. Four people involved were injured, including a child.
Erding/Munich – With 1.72 per thousand alcohol in the blood, a 27-year-old from the east of the district got behind the wheel on Saturday night. Around 5 o'clock in the morning, the journey was over – at a tree next to the state road 2084 Erding-Dorfen at Ammersdorf (Erding). According to the police, the woman probably came off the road to the right as a result of her high level of alcoholism. When hitting a tree, the car was completely demolished. The police estimate the total loss at around 10,000 euros. The Erding fire brigade and the rescue service were on site, the young woman came to the hospital with minor injuries. Now they are being investigated for a crime.
Another serious accident, in which a Dorfenerin was involved, occurred on Friday around 17.30 p.m. near the motorway junction Munich-North. The Hohenbrunn traffic police said that an 87-year-old from the district of Augsburg stopped with his vehicle in the left lane for reasons that are still unclear. With him in the car was an 83-year-old.
A 27-year-old from the district of Freising recognized the obstacle too late. In the car was the Dorfenerin (29) and a seven-year-old child. Their Mazda crashed into the breakdown vehicle and overturned. All three occupants and the passenger in the Opel suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital. The damage adds up to around 45,000 euros. The directional carriageway had to be partially closed. The backlog in rush hour traffic grew to a length of six kilometers on the A99, which was not heavily congested.
