After several delays, the extension of metro line 11 to Rosny-Bois-Perrier is scheduled to open in spring 2024, but its commissioning could be done in two stages. According to the Association des usagers des transports d'Île-de-France, the Romainville-Carnot station should open after the other five stations planned in the extension.

Opening in two stages?
The town hall also had a wind of a small opening lag between the Carnot station and the rest of the line. "We haven't had much more information from RATP. "We do not yet know if this extension will open in one or two stages as for the extension of line 14. Nothing is recorded. The opening target is still set for spring 2024. This line must be used in particular for the Olympic Games," she said. In January 2021, the Porte-de-Clichy station opened a month after the others on the extension of line 14.
