US President Joe Biden on Friday joined world leaders in congratulations to Jewish communities in honor of Rosh Hashanah: "Tonight at sunset, Jewish communities in the United States and around the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah - Judgment Day, the anniversary of the creation of the world and the beginning of a new Jewish year."

And the ritual of tashlich, symbolizing the casting off of our sins, inspires us to learn from our mistakes and commit to doing better in the future."
