Heart of Gold: Usually when gossip columns document a celeb on the streets, he is caught with an embarrassing block or wild behavior, but sometimes even the biggest stars are caught on camera demonstrating an act of good citizenship and proving that behind all the glitter and millions in the bank they have a compassionate heart.
One person who was documented last Sunday in such a heartwarming human act was Golden Globe winning actress Jennifer Garner, 51, who encountered a homeless man in a wheelchair while parked in a Santa Monica parking lot and decided to get out of her vehicle and help him.
Garner was filmed getting out of her car toward a homeless man in a wheelchair, handing him a bag that apparently contained groceries and having a smiling conversation with him. Garner noticed that the man had no shoes and tried to put her shoes on him, which to her disappointment were small on him. When she noticed a paparazzi filming her from afar, she turned to him and asked how he was wearing his shoes, explaining that the man she was trying to help needed shoes and offered to buy his shoes from him.
The feet of the photographer who was apparently impressed by Garner's human gesture may not have been exactly the size of the man's shoes, but he agreed to pass them on to him free of charge. Garner helped the man put on socks and shoes, when the courteous photographer suggested that Garner also pass him a blanket from his car. The whole incident, of course, was captured on paparazzi cameras and found its way online, where it received mixed reactions.

While some users claimed that Garner was aware of the cameras and therefore it was a move designed to create an angelic image for her, when in fact she is a narcissistic camera enthusiast who would not have behaved this way if there was no camera nearby, others praised her kindness and humanity.
