The mayor of Kfar Saba ordered the cancellation of an event held by Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak in the city, which was supposed to take place Wednesday evening. This is not a private event but a public place belonging to the municipality.

Mayor Rafi Sa'ar wrote in a Facebook post: "A person who denied the Holocaust, harmed the memory of the Holocaust victims and spread terrible false information related to the Holocaust cannot appear in a public facility funded by the tax money of the residents of Kfar Saba." Sa'ar also wrote: "I assumed to cancel Amnon Yitzhak's appearance in our city. The time has come to draw clear red lines between freedom of speech and the prohibition of incitement and the dissemination of slurs in the public domain."

Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak holds events of repentance. Three months ago he was interviewed on Channel 14 and said outrageous things about the Holocaust period. Among other things, he said: "The leftists abandoned the Jews during the Holocaust," and "Mapai was written on the trains."
