Oded Paz added many titles to himself over the years, starting as an actor, continuing to voice, direct, laugh and even work behind the camera as an Israeli director and producer. But most of all, Paz is familiar to us from the successful children's program "The Pajamas".
In a conversation with "The Digger," Paz talks about adolescence, I was a very introverted child, until I discovered that I could be funny." When asked about the "pajamas" phenomenon, which has been a huge success, Paz tells of the luck and timing of the show: "We came to have fun, we came to do what makes us laugh. We've entered the pantheon and I think we're here to stay." Paz adds. The success of the program brought with it opportunities that were joined by fears: "For years they predicted to me, 'This is where it ends,' the curse of the children's channel hosts," Paz adds.
Today, Paz performs with the helmet band that was formed back in the days of the pajama show, while his fellow program members have continued on to other projects. When asked about Dana Frieder and her success, he does not forget to praise, "Dana Frieder is a super singer in my eyes, she is a great singer who can work in several styles." Paz doesn't deal with comparisons, misses festivals and declares, "My dream is to host a reality show."
In the interview, Paz opens his heart, "I was a child who was easy to bully, and I was also that whiner," the childhood alongside his blind father, "being different in my eyes was an advantage, I took pride in it," and the acceptance of those who are different from him, "I saw many sick and disabled children, and for me it's easier, I don't shy away from them."
