The agreement with the United States and Saudi Arabia is still a long way off, but Fox News, presumably for quite a bit of money, is broadcasting a special project this week over three days designed to improve Saudi Arabia's image.

Fox is particularly strong among Republican voters, so the ultimate goal seems to be to soften Republican senators so that a 2/3 majority for the agreement can be reached. As part of the PR campaign, women are interviewed and say they can't believe how quickly they got rights to drive and get into business. Businessmen active in Saudi Arabia say how good it is for tourists. In short, someone is preparing the ground for the breakthrough. The only question, of course, is whether it will come.
