A 20-year-old woman was killed today (Wednesday) after being trapped under a train car in Netanya, at a train station in Netanya. Rescue teams rescued her unconscious and pronounced her dead. She apparently lost consciousness and fell, the circumstances are being investigated.

MDA emergency medical medic Noam Levy said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a young woman trapped unconscious with a multi-system injury. We tried to give her medical treatment during the rescue and after she was rescued, we performed CPR, at the end of which we had to pronounce her dead." Due to the incident, there have been changes and delays in train traffic in the area.

United Hatzalah said: "Fire crews worked to recover her body. According to passersby, she tripped and fell into the tracks. Sadly, she was pronounced dead due to the nature of the serious injuries she suffered."
