A high-speed chase on highways in the US state of Georgia ended this week in an unnecessary and unfortunate death. Officer Dawson's dashboard camera footage captured the suspenseful incident, and ChatGPT helps us tell what happened.

The officer estimates that the driver's speed increased from about 140 km/h in an area where the speed limit is 90 to over 160 km/h.
The Auto Wire website estimates that the vehicle was equipped with tires unsuitable for aggressive driving with an emphasis on road grip, and that the driver himself lacked any knowledge of extreme driving. This is in contrast to the policeman, who demonstrated great discipline and professionalism in this quick pursuit.
Unfortunately, the suspect's lack of preparation and unruly behavior during the chase resulted in a horrific crash. About four minutes into the chase, while trying to zigzag between a large SUV and an even larger pickup, the driver of the Ford Fusion lost steering control, veered off the road into a battery and overturned. When the officer stopped his vehicle and approached the overturned vehicle to get the suspect out, he found that he was already dead.
