Adv. Amir Badran will run on behalf of the Jewish-Arab list "We Are All the City" – which was established out of a large left-wing union of "We Are the City", "Purple City" and "Green City" • The list will focus on promoting social justice, strengthening urban democracy, and promoting all the diverse communities that make up Tel Aviv-Yafo

Joining forces of the left in Tel Aviv-Jaffa: On the eve of the closing of the lists for the city's elections, the parties "We Are the City", "Purple City" and "Green City" agreed to run together.

An Arab-Jewish partnership in Jaffa-Tel Aviv is the order of the day! A few days before the lists are submitted, we are working energetically on a broad and diverse Arab-Jewish list that will represent all of us. In order for us to have a city council that will include members of the city who promote a more egalitarian, democratic and just city, we wish that there will be good news for Yaffa-Tel Aviv pic.twitter.com/IrJa84n8LB

The first message of the new list, "We Are All the City," which works for equality between Arabs and Jews in the city, is the candidacy of We Are the City council member, Adv. Amir Badran, for mayor. Badran is running for office in order to present a real alternative to the existing candidates, all of whom intend to maintain the existing order, which they claim serves a small layer of capitalists.

The list combines new figures in municipal politics, alongside veteran members of the council who have many years of experience in the social field, alongside activists from a variety of fields of struggle. Together with Amir Badran, the list will be led by: city council member and Mizrahi feminist activist Shula Keshet, chairman of the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood committee; Itamar Avnery, one of the leaders of the Purple City movement, active in the LGBT community, and one of the founders of the apartment renters committee in the Florentine neighborhood; Elad Hochman, CEO of Green Trend and social entrepreneur; Maya Peretz, trade union organizer at Power for Workers; Adv. Noa Levy, secretary of Hadash in Tel Aviv; Rula Daoud, co-national director of the Jewish-Arab movement "Standing Together"; Yafoi social activist Omer Conflict, and more.
