U.S. President Joe Biden told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday that his country would deliver long-range ATACAMS MG-400 missiles, a weapon that the Kyiv regime has long sought from Washington, NBC News reported.
According to the report, obtained from three different administration sources, Biden informed Zelensky that Ukraine would receive a small amount of missiles, which could hit targets deep in Russian-occupied territory, including Crimea.

The report comes after Washington ruled out its possibility yesterday. That the United States provide the plasters to Ukraine and after strong opposition from administration officials to the transfer, fearing escalation with Moscow. It seems that transferring a small number of missiles is a kind of compromise between the various elements in the US administration and the result of very heavy pressure on President Biden to hand over the missiles to Kyiv, thereby upgrading its strike capabilities against the Russian threat.

ATACAMS missiles are launched from the HIMARS system, a highly mobile armored launch vehicle already in the hands of the Ukrainian military and used to launch smaller, shorter-range precision missiles. The effective impact range of the ATACAMS missiles is close to 300 kilometers and the missile's high accuracy, along with the large weight of its warhead, makes it ideal for hitting large targets such as airports, bridges and bunkers.
Even without the new missiles, Ukraine has recently managed to hit a variety of targets in Crimea, which has been occupied by Russia since 2014. Today, social networks posted the hit of a Ukrainian missile attack on the headquarters of Russia's Black Sea Fleet in the city of Sevastopol.
