The controversy surrounding the campaign in support of Amiram Ben Uliel, who was convicted of murdering Sa'ad and Riham Dawabsheh, and their one-and-a-half-year-old baby son 'Ali, continues, and family members are closely monitoring the events. On Saturday, the grandfather of the family, the father of the late mother, told Israel Hayom that he expects Prime Minister Netanyahu to stop what he called the "incitement campaign," noting that "anyone who supports the murderer Amiram Ben Uliel is an accomplice to the crime and encourages terror against Palestinians."
"The Knesset members and people on the right who support him morally, financially or in any other way, and who want to reduce his sentence and conditions in prison, are themselves Amiram Ben Uliel. This must be stopped to prevent the next murder," the grandfather added.

MK Sun Har Melech on Amiram Ben Uliel: "I don't support the murderer, I know Amiram is innocent" // Use in accordance with section 27A of the Copyright Law
The grandfather of the family despised the words of Otzma Yehudit MK Limor Sun Har-Melech, who called the murderer Ben Uliel "righteous and holy," and even strongly attacked her. "What it does and says is incitement to terrorism. I hope that the Israeli authorities will take action against her and prosecute her," the grandfather said.
"Look at Zadorov"
This week, Sun Har-Melech said during a fundraising campaign of the "Mateh Zedek for Amiram": "I do not support the murderer, I know that Amiram is innocent. I was with him, and when this holy righteous man walks through the hallway, not a single guard is there."
After the conference, MK Sun Har-Melech said: "Yes, I believe that Amiram Ben Uliel is innocent and that his confession was extracted under torture that no one would have withstanded. And if you want proof of persecution, look at the insistence on keeping him in solitary confinement for eight years, an unprecedented sanction. Zadorov's innocence was also questioned, and here he was acquitted after 17 years. I just hope that with Amiram it will take less."

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court rejected Ben Uliel's appeal of his conviction in the Duma affair, leaving in place the sentence of three life sentences. Judge Yosef Elron reasoned that he accepted Ben Uliel's later confessions, those he gave after the violent interrogation at the Shin Bet and not during it, for several reasons: 36 hours have passed since the violent interrogation, the identity of the interrogators has been changed (except for one, "Miguel"), a relaxed atmosphere at the time of the confession, a very detailed confession was given and is therefore credible.
