The police, for their part, raised the alert for the High Holidays before Rosh Hashanah. This is an alert that will continue even more intensely on Yom Kippur for fear of attempts to harm this particular day. The police have recently identified a significant increase in the number of warnings to carry out terrorist attacks, as well as incitement on social networks to carry out attacks and murder Jews by terrorist organizations. In addition, the police will be reinforced in mixed cities in order to prevent friction between Jewish and Muslim residents.

Chief of the Operations Directorate, Major General Sigal Bar-Zvi, said: "The number of warnings ahead of Yom Kippur is increasing. Therefore, we call on worshippers to maintain their safety, and those who carry weapons, to come to prayer with their weapons."

Meanwhile, on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, the security situation in the various arenas is not calm. On the Lebanese border, the IDF used crowd control measures against an engineering tool when its cape was spotted crossing the blue line between Lebanon and Israel. There was another disturbance on the Gaza border, for the ninth consecutive day, when hundreds of protesters gathered near the perimeter fence, launched incendiary balloons, burned tires and even fired at security forces near the perimeter fence, east of Gaza. As a result, the IDF attacked Hamas points east of the city. In addition, tensions in Judea and Samaria have been high for a very long time.
