A child was seriously injured Sunday after being stung by a scorpion in the south. The 6-year-old was brought to a local clinic in Arad, and from there he was evacuated, anesthetized and on a ventilator, to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva.
Yesterday, a two-year-old toddler was stung by a yellow scorpion in a community near Arad in the Negev. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in serious and stable condition. A short time later, a one-year-old baby was stung by a yellow scorpion in the village of Kisan, south of Jerusalem. His condition is moderate.
