The updated forecast is based on three main models: the European model, the British model, and the American model, these three models, which are based on estimates of significant supercomputers, have been constantly predicting the same forecast for the Israeli winter in recent months.
It is important to note, of course, that there is a gap between a weekly forecast model that is based on close data and is therefore more accurate, and a seasonal model that predicts long-term processes and therefore has a greater chance of error. Despite this, the expectation of a rainy season and higher rainfall is seen in the models regularly.
