Three fire brigades and the Miesbach police were notified of an alleged gas leak late Tuesday afternoon. The message turned out to be harmless.
Hausham – An alleged gas leak caused a major but short fire and police operation in Agatharied late Tuesday afternoon. The employee of a local bakery had previously notified the caretaker of a building on Marktstraße after she had noticed an unusual smell and feared a gas leak. The caretaker then informed the emergency services, explains a spokesman for the Miesbach police at the request of our newspaper. On the spot, however, it turned out: there was no gas leak.
All-clear: Measured values of the fire brigade in the green zone
The fire brigades, which had rushed to the shopping building from Hausham and Miesbach in addition to Agatharied, were able to quickly give the all-clear after measuring the air values, the police spokesman continues. What exactly was hidden behind the deceptive smell could not be conclusively clarified by the time of going to press. However, the police spokesman emphasizes that there was no danger from the steam at any time. Nap
