Unknown persons have set fire to a student dormitory in Freising. Thanks to a witness, worse was prevented.
Freising - The Freising police assume several perpetrators. According to investigators, the perpetrators were up to mischief on Monday at around 21:30 p.m. in the vacant dormitory on Giggenhauser Straße. They set fire to a tabletop that had been left behind and other wood debris lying around. The fact that there was no worse fire is thanks to an attentive witness who immediately made the emergency call. In this way, the Freising fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames very quickly and prevent major property damage.
However, an immediate search for the arsonists was unsuccessful. PI Freising is therefore asking witnesses for relevant information by calling (0 81 61) 5 30 50.
