"Design communicates" is the theme proposed this year by CASA FOA, an invitation to reflect on the multiple perspectives in which design transcends its function of projecting objects and spaces. The sensory, what we perceive, but do not see, the messages that are implicit in each project decision, the visual impact of a creation, the limits with art, the effect of technology, the natural versus the artificial, come into play when we communicate through design.

Under these premises, the joint design team developed the "Calma" nursery, a space capable of transmitting serenity, tranquility and comfort. The main objective of this proposal, which has as protagonists the children in all their stages (babies, children and adolescents) is that they can experience through the sensory the pleasure of reaching a cozy, soft, fresh space that stimulates them to rest, play, study, create, share and have fun contained in a harmonious space subtly inspired by the natural.

Noble materials such as linen, cotton, velvet and wood are combined, in a modern, functional and bright style, soft colors in the range of raw, beige and white with gray accents and a touch of green provided by the olive trees Symbol of peace and celebration.

"The central message is the design of a space that prioritizes safety, harmony and aesthetics, communicating the importance of providing such an environment for children," say Pampita and the creative team.

The new line Pampita By Fontenla, Baby & Kids

It is a capsule collection of furniture made with high quality materials, such as noble woods, and stand out for their detailed craftsmanship and fine finishes. This furniture presents clean and classic lines, with subtle ornaments and decorative details. The colors used are soft and neutral, such as white, cream or gray, which provide a sense of tranquility and harmony.

The "Calma" space has two sectors. Baby-Kid, for newborns and younger children, contemplates all stages from their first crib to the corner to feed in that magical daily connection with their mother. As that baby acquires autonomy, the Montessori-style crib/bed will allow him to train and develop his independence while learning to walk. It also has a central area of small furniture to play, draw, read with soft resources such as carpet, cushions and stuffed animals.

The Teen sector, for older children and teenagers, is a highly functional environment where rest coexists with a bunk bed; The studio, with a desk and library sector and fun, with a proposal that integrates technology with physical activity, a pair of armchairs invite you to play play, watch a movie, play online, have a sleepover and adventure (with a playful wall, the palestra).
