The Charlie Charlie challenge gained momentum on social media as early as May 2015, but was eventually revealed to be a disguised campaign for a Warner Studios horror film LA HORCA. This challenge puts your greatest fears to the test. His goal is to summon a Mexican ghost named Charlie through a kind of makeshift Viji board. The winner will be the one who manages to summon the wind.
A group of girls from Mexico allegedly managed to summon Charlie, only this time he decided to take revenge. In a chilling video posted online several years ago but gaining interest again, the girls are seen possessed, held on a concrete floor in the church, screaming and cursing while the workers read verses from the Bible to them.
The video, filmed in Iquitos, Peru, shows one of the girls charging at another from behind before police officers restrained her. The exorcism ceremony lasted about 5 hours without success, when the girls were finally sent for medical treatment.

The "Charlie Charlie" challenge went viral as more and more netizens filmed themselves trying to summon Charlie. The rules of the game are simple: place two pencils perpendicular to each other on a piece of paper and write the words "yes" and "no" twice—one word per quarter created. Similar to the Wiggy board, players are asked to say, "Charlie, Charlie, can we play?" If Charlie is indeed there, the pencils will move to the word "yes." To end the game, participants must sing: "Charlie, Charlie, can I stop?" and then throw the pencils on the floor to cut off contact with the ghost, otherwise it will haunt them and their home forever.
