Highlights: The weekend exhibitions, from Sandro Penna to Kentridge - Art. In Milan there is Morandi, in Florence comes Kapoor (ANSA) SandroPenna and the figurative arts, up to William Kentridge: they are some of the protagonists of this week's exhibitions. Spazio Treccani hosts the exhibition "by Paolo Porto di Porto", curated by Francesco Cellotini. Diego Marcon will be open until February 4th at the Museum of Comics: a path of 150 works.

Sandro Penna and Giorgio Morandi, up to William Kentridge: they are some of the protagonists of this week's exhibitions.
PERUGIA - 150 works by authors such as Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau, Filippo De Pisis, Mario Mafai, Tano Festa, Mario Schifano, Franco Angeli and others will tell the figure of one of the main Italian poets in the exhibition Un mare tutto fresco di colore. Sandro Penna and the figurative arts, from 6 October to 14 January at the National Gallery of Umbria. Curated by Roberto Deidier, Tommaso Mozzati, Carla Scagliosi, the project focuses on the tastes and trends widespread on the cultural scene between the forties and seventies, of which the poet was an absolute protagonist.
FLORENCE - Anish Kapoor arrives at Palazzo Strozzi from 7 October to 4 February with the exhibition Untrue Unreal, curated by Arturo Galansino. Investigating space and time, the inside and the outside, Kapoor presents a path in which color involves the viewer, littered with monumental installations, intimate environments and disturbing forms.
PALERMO - William Kentridge is the protagonist in Palermo with his new sound installation with projection You Whom I Could Not Save which gives the title to the solo show scheduled from 8 October to 12 January at Palazzo Branciforte. The work is proposed together with 16 unpublished drawings, the film Sibyl (2020), bronze and painted bronze sculptures and a sequence of tapestries.
MILAN - It is undoubtedly one of the most complete retrospectives that, with the title Morandi 1890-1964, Palazzo Reale dedicates to the painter Giorgio Morandi. The exhibition, curated by Maria Cristina Bandera and set up from 5 October to 4 February, presents an exhibition corpus of about 120 masterpieces to retrace the entire work of the Bolognese artist - fifty years of activity, from 1913 to 1963 - through exceptional loans from important public institutions and prestigious private collections, starting from those of the Morandi Museum in Bologna and the Milanese collections.
MILAN - It's called Clocked. This is not an escape room.
On the history of design, the exhibition-game conceived and promoted by the Circuito Lombardo Musei Design with the contribution of Fondazione Cariplo and in collaboration with ADI Design Museum where it is set up from 4 to 29 October. A playful-investigative path will allow the public to learn about the history of Italian design through 16 famous objects made in Italy.
ROME/TERMOLI - Two exhibitions with a single title, parallel and complementary, to celebrate the fantastic and irreverent world of the cartoonist Jacovitti. From 7 October to 25 February, simultaneously at the Maxxi in Rome and at the Macte in Termoli, the exhibitions Jacovittissimevolmente, the first (curated by Dino Aloi and Silvia Jacovitti) of more anthological cut, the other (curated by Luca Raffaelli) which explores the technical and linguistic inventions of the artist.
PRATO - Diego Marcon will be open until February 4th.
Icing: the largest exhibition project to date carried out by Diego Marcon in an Italian institution. For the exhibition, curated by Stefano Collicelli Cagol and Elena Magini, the artist has conceived a unique, immersive installation in which he has included new and existing works.
COSENZA - As part of the Comics Festival Le Strade del Paesaggio from 7 October the great exhibition dedicated to Mickey Mouse and set up in 5 locations several, including the Museum of Comics: a path of 150 works, including the original and never exhibited ones taken from the story Mickey Mouse and the lords of the galaxy, designed by Massimo De Vita in 1991 and published by Walt Disney Company in various editions.
ROME - On the occasion of the opening of the new Spazio Treccani Arte, from 3 October to 22 December an exhibition that reveals the versatility of the projects proposed so far by the Institution, presenting all the works created, over the 5 years of Treccani Arte, with over 30 contemporary artists, including Marisa Merz, Marinella Senatore, Emilio Isgrò, Nico Vascellari, Claire Fontaine, Giuseppe Stampone. From 5 October to 4 November the Accademia di San Luca hosts "by Paolo Portoghesi.
Sguardo, parole, fotografie", curated and organized by Francesco Cellini and Laura Bertolaccini, a reflection on the legacy left by the great architect.
