More than 200 animals were transferred from the "Let the Animals Live" clinic in Ashkelon that was evacuated to a shelter • Also: What should be done if an injured animal or stray dog is found, and how can we help street cats whose feeders have been evacuated from their homes or recruited?

It does not seem that the "Iron Swords" war is about to end anytime soon, and therefore the "Let the Animals Live" association decided to explain to the public how to help the animals injured during the various events and how to help the organization itself.

Following the war, the organization's clinic in Ashkelon was vacated – which led to more than 200 dogs and cats being transferred to the Let the Animals Live shelter in Kfar Ruth. Those interested in adopting the animals or serving as foster families for them can contact us at *3703 at extension 3.

Since many cat feeders have been evacuated from their homes and/or recruited, there are many cats that are unprotected and exposed to rocket fire. The association asked to place water and food in places where there are large concentrations of cats, in order to help them during these difficult days.

Also, if you find a stray dog alone, which may have been lost during the war as many dozens of other dogs did, we approach it gently and patiently, and try to catch it – and then transfer it to a veterinarian who will examine its microchip, so that it can hopefully reunite it with its owner.

If you find an injured animal, you can contact the organization at *3703 at extension 1. The association asked callers to be patient as they are inundated with calls for help.
