On Monday morning, representatives of the state camp and the Likud met on the establishment of an emergency government until the end of the war.

The main points of the state camp's proposal:
- The establishment of a limited war cabinet for the duration of the campaign, in which members of the state camp will be given influential representation, and the relevant ministers on behalf of the prime minister will be members.
- If additional opposition parties join, the War Cabinet will be expanded accordingly.
- Most of the powers to conduct war will be delegated to this body.
- During the term of the emergency government, there will be no legislation in the Knesset that has nothing to do with the war.
It should be emphasized that there is no requirement to appoint executive ministers, but only for ministers without portfolio, for the duration of the war only. At the meeting, a message was conveyed that members of the state camp, and Gantz personally, would give full backing to the government and the defense establishment in conducting the campaign, and would assist in everything necessary, whether from within the government or from outside.
