The leader of the Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, denounced on his blog on Monday (October 9th) "a now permanent media stoning" against his movement, which has been caught up in controversy after its reaction to the Hamas attack in Israel.

The Insoumises are being stoned in the media, which is now permanent," the former presidential candidate wrote, adding: "The Insoumises do not approve of any massacre regardless of the perpetrators. How could anyone believe otherwise? What for? Or is there the slightest trace of it? So I recommend that you don't give in to pressure."
