The death toll from the attacks in Israel has risen to "more than 1,200," the Israeli military said Wednesday morning, up from 1,000 overnight.
More than 2,800 people have been injured and 50 people are officially listed as "hostages or missing" in the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli authorities.
