Tel Aviv/Gaza - The death toll in Israel has risen to at least 1200,3000. This was announced in the morning by the spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Jonathan Conricus. The Israeli army has massed troops on the border with the Gaza Strip, from where Hamas launched its attacks over the weekend. 300,000 reservists were mobilized. Obviously, a large-scale military operation is planned.
Death toll also rises in the Gaza Strip

Israel Continues Shelling Targets in the Gaza Strip
For the third time in 24 hours, large-scale attacks were carried out in the Gaza Strip, the IDF said early in the morning. More than 450 targets were hit. Al-Furqan, a neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip, is used by Hamas as a terrorist center. Numerous terrorist attacks against Israel are carried out from there, the IDF said. The conflict is expected to escalate further. It is possible that an Israeli ground offensive in the Gaza Strip is now imminent. The government has ordered the closure of the Gaza Strip.
Israel receives military support from the US
During the night, a first transport plane carrying American weapons equipment arrived at the Nevatim airbase in southern Israel, as Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) announced on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Lufthansa will operate special flights on Thursday and Friday to evacuate Germans from Israel. At the same time, Baerbock defended her stance of reviewing German aid to the Palestinians, but not stopping it completely.
