A French teacher at the Gambetta-Carnot school complex in Arras was stabbed to death by a former student of the school, Mohammed Mogouchkov, a 20-year-old Caucasian who has an S file and is actively monitored by the DGSI. "We are shocked, scandalized, indignant, in mourning," said Maxime Reppert, vice-president of the Snalc teachers' union, who was in contact with teachers on site during the lockdown imposed on staff and students at the Gambetta high school following the attack. We are also worried and we have a lot of questions," he said. What were the attacker's motivations? How did he get into high school? How can we improve the safety of students and staff?
