A Peruvian man has divorced his wife - after discovering intimate photos of her with another man on Google maps. According to local media reports, the husband was just trying to plan a route before a trip and was using Google Street View's service, when he suddenly noticed the image of his wife sitting on a bench stroking the hair of another man, who was lying with his head in her lap.
The images, taken by Google's cameras in Lima, Peru's capital, caught the man's attention after he noticed that the woman seen in them was wearing the same clothes as his wife. When he focused on the pictures, he saw that it was indeed his wife. Although the photos were taken in 2013, the man decided to confront his wife and presented her with evidence that she had cheated on him in the past. The couple, whose names have not been released, divorced after the woman admitted to having an affair.

Local media reports that the couple were already separated and that the photo was actually the last straw for the husband. Immediately after discovering his wife with another man in town, he posted a screenshot on his Facebook account - where he received a wide range of comments (from jokes to encouragement to condemnation of his wife). The Latin American website La Cronica reported that the aggrieved husband noted that, ironically, his wife was photographed with her lover on a bench in a place called the Bridge of Sighs.
