Today (Friday), veterans of the 190th Squadron, the Apache Squadron, arrived at Mitzpe Ramon Air Force Base "Wing 25" and organized a pampering lunch for all the soldiers of the base, which included an elaborate "barbecue", prepared by the veterans.
"It was important for us to focus our attention on the technical wing, which includes mechanics, munitions personnel, maintenance personnel, electronics and communications personnel, who work day and night in rounds of armament and maintenance of Apache helicopters and strengthen them morale, and fill them with forces for the additional days of fighting that await us."

Nir Attarchi, former pilot of the 190th Squadron, said: "We are a group of veterans of the 190th Squadron, which includes squadron commanders, pilots, senior officers, retired aircrew members, who served the squadron in its history. After hearing that the current squadron, the Apache squadron in Mitzpe Ramon, needed moral reinforcement and encouragement, after a week of fighting during which hundreds of sorties were carried out and hundreds of missiles and shells were fired, we picked up the gauntlet, enlisted and produced a pampering lunch for them that is all gratitude for their hard work. The technical department did not remain indifferent, and expressed their appreciation for the initiative, execution and effort. At the end of the day, we came to strengthen and we came out stronger!"
