Recently, pop singer Andrea Berg announced her ritual before a show. The most important utensil for this: a small Jägermeister. There is a serious reason why this custom has become indispensable for them.
Aspach – In an interview with schlager.de, Andrea Berg (57) was in a chatty mood. When asked whether she has a ritual before performances, the pop icon has to go further. She and her team drink a small Jägermeister before every concert. For the singer, however, the procedure is more important than the schnapps itself. Not entirely innocent of the superstition are a stage accident and DJ BoBo (55).

Andrea Berg gives her all in her performances. In 2016, the pop singer found herself in a literally precarious situation. At a performance in Wetzlar, a large dragon was part of their stage set, which looked as if it were breathing fire with the help of pyrotechnics. A technical error caused Andrea Berg to get too close to the flames and suffer severe burns. Since the incident, the pop singer has been superstitious, because one ritual was cancelled for the first time that day: the Jägermeister with the crew before the concert.
Andrea Berg seems to blame her colleague DJ BoBo for the incident. Before the fateful performance, he had asked her not to drink Jägermeister this time if she had to perform on the 16-metre-high dragon later. Normally, the singer doesn't let herself be dissuaded from her ritual, but on that day she made a one-time exception.

"And now you see what we got out of it," Andrea Berg's return carriage followed. "Since then, I've never gone on stage without a little Jägermeister," explains the artist.

In addition, the hit giant attaches great importance to her team getting together again before the performance. And then there is a "joker" for everyone who wants, as the pop queen calls him.
