Soldiers documented Hamas members in white pickup trucks on the Gaza Strip's border fence about a month before the terrorist attack on the south, Channel 12 News reported Wednesday evening.

The footage shows the vehicles – similar to those used by terrorists in the October 7 invasion – stopping for observations of Israel at several points, driving very close to the border area. In retrospect, the scene appears to be one of the stages in preparation for an attack. The soldiers who identified the unusual incident documented it and reported it.

About 1,400 people were murdered and 5,400 wounded in the war and escalation in the north. On Saturday, October 7, thousands of terrorists infiltrated Israel from Gaza in a combined attack, massacring civilians, police and soldiers in a long list of communities and bases in southern Israel. In several places, atrocities and shocking violence against the victims were exposed. Among other things, the terrorists murdered more than 250 partygoers at a music festival held in Re'im, set fire to houses in several kibbutzim near the Gaza Strip with their inhabitants, and executed elderly people, women and children.

The terrorists abducted many residents of Gaza, including the elderly, women and children - terrorists admitted during interrogation that these were part of the orders they received before the invasion of the envelope. The IDF Spokesperson updated 222 families whose loved ones were abducted to the Gaza Strip, while negotiations are underway for a prisoner exchange through intermediaries. So far, four abductees have been released, two of them with American citizenship.

In response to the events, Israel launched an "iron sword" war. In this context, the IDF attacked targets in Gaza, imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip, and allows humanitarian aid to enter only through the Rafah crossing. Most of the attacks are directed at the northern Gaza Strip, from where some 600,<> Palestinians fled south. Meanwhile, tension also arose on the northern border: anti-tank missiles were launched from Lebanon at outposts in the north – the IDF thwarted several additional attempts by terrorist squads to fire at Israel and attacked several positions of Hezbollah, which claimed responsibility for the rocket fire.
