Highlights: Children run for sick children: Fundraising campaign of the Bockhorn school raises over 12,000 euros. Half of the money has now been handed over to two institutions. With their regular visits to the children's wards of Bavarian hospitals, the clinic clowns make the hospital stay of young patients much easier. The initiative supports children suffering from cancer who are being treated in Munich, as well as their relatives. It makes it possible for parents to live close to the hospital during their children's often long hospital stays in order to always be there during this stressful time.

At the end of the last school year, the focus of the Bockhorn primary school was on sporting, but above all social commitment. More than 150 students gave their best. They had looked for sponsors in their families or private lives, who rewarded their running performance with donations to a good cause. An impressive 12,191.48 euros were raised. Half of the money has now been handed over to two institutions.

Bockhorn – Clown "Fiderallala" from the Clinic Clowns Bavaria and the mountain learner Thomas Stemmer from the Initiative for Children with Cancer Munich accepted the donation at the school. According to a press release from the clinic clowns, they thanked runners, the school management, the parents' council and all those who had made the run possible in the most beautiful weather with their commitment and donations.

The initiative supports children suffering from cancer who are being treated in Munich, as well as their relatives, through a wide range of measures. It makes it possible for parents to live close to the hospital during their children's often long hospital stays in order to always be there during this stressful time. With their regular visits to the children's wards of Bavarian hospitals, the clinic clowns make the hospital stay of young patients much easier. Both initiatives are largely financed by donations and are particularly happy when children get involved in helping their sick peers.
