The Insoumises have frankly not digested the "moratorium" of the Nupes enacted by the PS last week. Olivier Faure's party announced that it would suspend all as long as the Mélenchonists did not clarify some of their positions, particularly on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "If the Socialists want to play, we're going to play," warned an annoyed Insoumise MP in recent days.

The expected reply came on Tuesday, via a letter sent by Manuel Bompard to the leaders of the Socialist Party. The LFI National Coordinator asked them 14 specific questions. The aim was to demonstrate that the moratorium was in no way justified. Not a little proud of his achievement, the MP for Marseille joked in front of a few journalists on Tuesday: "You should thank me for asking the questions for you! There is a lot of uncertainty around their moratorium. Even in the Socialist Party, some people tell me they didn't understand."
'Unheard of on the left'
For the Insoumis, this socialist moratorium would above all represent an admission of weakness on the part of Olivier Faure...
