Therefore, and since this is their situation, everyone is invested in winning and going home with a less bent mind. Instead of understanding this and cooperating with them, Netanyahu treats them embarrassingly.

His statement tonight was also neatly engineered. Every word was checked. He did not accept responsibility, and only announced that his job was to ensure the future of the country. That is, from here on. The reason is that Netanyahu – according to his acquaintances and some of his admirers – is convinced that he will get out of it. Let the protocols prove that he did not know about the Egyptian warning. who checked and checked again and did not act recklessly. who constantly challenged the military system.
The truth is, he is not only a challenge, but also a troll. Bringing Gabi Ashkenazi to consult at the Kirya and letting him meet with the fighters is really putting a finger in the eye of Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for whom and after the Harpaz affair, Ashkenazi is a bright red sheet. Why meet at the Defense Ministry with Maj. Gen. (res.) Brick, who never stops criticizing the army? Meeting with those who say that the army is not ready and must wait six months before entering the ground is a vote of no confidence in the military leadership. Forcing the defense minister and chief of staff to take a picture with him at a meeting, in which they were required to mumble words of trust, is more than embarrassing.

Netanyahu often calls Biden. These conversations are also recorded. Netanyahu reiterates in the talks that Israel has the right to defend itself and eliminate Hamas, but is in no hurry to argue with the US president, who asks him not to rush into Gaza and allow the transfer of humanitarian equipment to the Palestinians.
It must be said loud and clear - all the recordings, all the conversations, all the consultations will not help. Netanyahu will have to draw conclusions, draft a letter of resignation, and as a final act, if he has a drop of leadership left, pass a decision in the government on the establishment of a state commission of inquiry. He has to go, because responsibility starts from the top. And if we repeat what Menachem Begin said to Golda Meir after the Yom Kippur War: If you knew, and did nothing, it is bad. If you didn't know, it's even worse.
