FIGARO LIVE - The TV host presents this Friday a special evening on TMC dedicated to paranormal phenomena. Invited on the set of "Buzz TV", she reveals her ambitions within the TF1 group.

This Friday, October 27, the TV host of the private group presents an evening dedicated to paranormal phenomena on TMC. The show revisits, as its name suggests "Paranormal: The 13 Most Incredible Phenomena," about a series of mysterious events. And irremediably, as a presenter, Anaïs Grangerac cannot be hermetic to this universe. "It's always something that intrigued me. I don't believe in everything, I'm basically more of a Cartesian, but it would be very simplistic to think that we are omniscient," she says.

However, the paranormal is by no means his specialty. She has long been in charge of castings of shows such as "Prodiges" on France 2, or Masterchef. But it was his role on the reality show "The Voice" that broke his profile. Unlike most of the talents made famous by the show, it was in the shadows of the cameras that she acted. "We were really there to wrap up and reassure the candidates to make sure they were valued."

Among these years, she crossed paths with Louane, among others. "She gave me this little nickname which was 'Maman saucisson'," says Anaïs Grangerac, who can't help but laugh. "We shared this love for the French terroir and so I always made sure that we had sausages available because Louane loved it," she recalls with benevolence, while emphasizing: "'The Voice' is a family that endures over the years."

"I didn't calculate how big it was going to be"

In addition to pampering the candidates, one of his other missions was to accompany them to the set. An action that has earned her the nickname: "the girl at the door". Far from being annoyed by it, the TF1 host remembers this time with amusement. "That was almost ten years ago. At the time, I didn't calculate how big it was going to be," she recalls, adding, "I had a closed account on Instagram, and I was getting hundreds and hundreds of follower requests every night and I was turning it down. I wondered who these people are, I don't understand." According to her, this impact has certainly allowed her to evolve in the world of television.

Anaïs Grangerac now hosts on TF1, among other things, the lottery, blooper shows and the cultural show "Clap". And of course, when a spot became available at the presentation of "50'inside", his name slipped into the list of contenders for the position. "It's a wish I made when I saw that Nikos was leaving his place [...] The idea is to always be very proactive, so I told TF1 that it's something I'd love to present," she admits, while confirming her desire to be more and more present on the air. "It didn't happen for this program, maybe it will for another," Anaïs Grangerac hopes.

This desire to gain responsibility is well and truly affirmed by the 35-year-old. "A few years ago, when I was a little younger, I used to apologize a little bit. I thought it was enough to stay in his corner, but [...] now I don't hesitate to make my voice heard at all." That said, she wouldn't mind being forgotten by the production of the show "Fort Boyard". "I did it once and it was very fun to do it. They took advantage of it and that's the game. Inevitably, they manage to find a small flaw, in this case it was really my hair," she explains, adding that she was sprayed by a lot of things during Willy Rovelli's event. "Ending the show with a little smell of vomit in your hair is a challenge," she quips.
