And the production is thinking "big", according to our colleagues at Le Parisien. New storylines in new settings are expected in early 2024. As for the cast, viewers will find Stéphane Hénon, Sylvie Flepp, Laurent Kérusoré, Cécilia Hornus and Jérôme Bertin, but will also discover new faces.
Filming has already begun
"It's not about making a season 19, but season 1 of a new series," says Stéphanie Brémond, deputy general manager in charge of soap operas and long series at Newen France. To inaugurate this new life, the series will even be renamed. Viewers will now be able to watch Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle.

Filming for these new episodes began on October 11. The Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malak, came in person to the studios of the Belle-de-Mai Media Centre to inaugurate the new Mistral bar. She was accompanied by Renaud Muselier, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Council. Also present for the occasion were two deputy mayors of the city of Marseille, the CEO of the TF1 group, Rodolphe Belmer and the CEO of the production company Newen, Vincent Mellet.
The Marwan Berreni case
The return of Plus belle la vie, now even more beautiful, is unfortunately marred by the Marwan Berreni affair. Following a serious car accident, the actor, who played the character Abdel Fedala for 13 years, had been missing since August. On 12 October, the body of a man found lifeless in an abandoned house was revealed to be that of Marwan Berreni. The production company, owned by the TF1 group, praised "his great energy and professionalism on set".
