The TAR also denied the gun license to a merchant from Lodi, owner of a bar and a tobacconist, who had applied for it, explaining that he turned over with a lot of cash and wanted to protect himself from possible robberies while he moved the proceeds from his activities to the bank.
"He can avoid the movement of cash by using the most modern means of payment", reads the motivations of the TAR, which therefore confirmed what had already been established by the Prefecture of Lodi, which on the basis of an opinion of the Police Headquarters, had denied it given that there is no particular risk of robberies in the territory.
Following the first refusal of the Prefecture, the trader had appealed to the Regional Administrative Court of Lombardy, which confirmed the refusal.
