The Court of Barcelona has sentenced the two twins accused of murdering the boyfriend of one of them in Sabadell (Barcelona) in 16 to 20 and 2021 years in prison, with a higher sentence for aggravating factor of kinship for her partner, and has also imposed a sentence of 17 years for the victim's brother-in-law. that at the trial he confessed to the crime. According to the sentence, in the early hours of July 10, 2021, the victim's brother-in-law dealt him "several blows with a metal crowbar" to the face and skull, and continued to assault him while he tried to flee, reaching the landing on the lower floor, where he eventually died. Afterwards, the twins (the victim's partner and sister-in-law) wrapped the body in a blanket and tried to clean the blood stains and brain mass from the floor, something that the sentence does not specify if the two did together or one of them.

The sentence adds that the three had "previously concerted" to commit the crime and the three must jointly pay compensation of 200,000 euros to the victim's family. Regarding the two women, the court remarks that they did nothing to prevent the aggression that the man has confessed, and adds that the victim's sister-in-law "exerted a psychic influence" on her partner, now convicted, to make him want to commit the crime.
